The Knights of Columbus operates the Father Krempa Soup Kitchen and Bill Herlihy Mobile Food Pantry under the umbrella of the Columbus Club of Winchester. The Knights formed the Columbus Club as a non-stock corporation registered with the State Corporation Commission. The Columbus Club has 501c3 tax status with the Internal Revenue Service. The members of the Columbus Club are exclusively the members of the Deacon Ed Christianson Council (3572) of the Knights of Columbus.
The Knights of Columbus is an international fraternal organization of the Catholic Church performing charitable activities to support our communities. The Deacon Ed Christianson Council of Knights supports those in need in many ways, but our food ministry is by far our most significant accomplishment.
