Soup Kitchen

We serve hot meals from 4 - 5:30 pm every Wednesday at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
Please arrive as early as possible. We have no way of knowing what weekly demand will be, and
we stop serving once we run out of food.

Our meals are served in take-out containers. The menu varies from week to week, but a hot,
nutritious meal is always provided. We offer water, snacks and personal care items to those
that come to the hall. The latter are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The operation is a true team effort, fueled by the immense generosity of volunteers, partners
and donors. More than 100 volunteers from the Knights and their families, Sacred Heart of
Jesus parishioners, local civic organizations, and other volunteers come together to provide the
backbone for the soup kitchen.

Food for the soup kitchen meal is donated by members of six volunteer teams who rotate the
duties of preparing the meals with love.
